Head Coach Andy Reid

Injury Report: "[QB] Donovan [McNabb] we have listed as doubtful. He felt a little bit better today and we'll just keep rehabbing with him and we'll see how it goes the next couple of days. [DE] Victor [Abiamiri] is listed as questionable, he has a groin strain and actually he was feeling pretty good today so we'll see how he does here in the next couple days. [S] Quintin Demps is listed as out with a hamstring strain. [G/T] Todd Herremans is out and [LB] Joe Mays with a shoulder sprain is out."

Opening Remarks: "We look forward to the challenge of playing the Saints and we know what kind of football team they have, how powerful they are on offense and defense and their special teams, how explosive they are there. We look forward to bringing them into Lincoln Financial Field and our fans, they'll be crazy as ever. That will be a big thing; the louder it is the better it is. With the guard position, I'll continue to rotate the guards. [G/C] Nick [Cole] will start and then we'll just rotate the guys as we feel in. If Donovan can't go then obviously, [QB] Kevin [Kolb] will be the starter and [QB] Jeff [Garcia] then will be the backup. If Donovan goes then Jeff would be the third quarterback."

On the likelihood of McNabb starting Sunday: "It's hard because he made improvements every day here so you don't know exactly know where he'll be by that time. But, it's been good for Kevin to get all the snaps and he's done a nice job with that."

On whether he has seen a difference in how QB Kevin Kolb was playing in practice Wednesday versus today:"Really he jumped right in the first day and went after it. He's approached it very well. He takes charge in there and he's done a nice job with managing the huddle and the plays."

On whether there is a specific reason G Max Jean-Gilles has been getting a lot of snaps: "We've rotated all thee of them and Max can play either side and really Nick can play either side too. I've had to get Nick a few snaps at center just so that he stays sharp on that. We've kind of mixed guys in and out on there."

On whether mixing guys in and out at guard has anything to do with G/T Stacy Andrews' knee: "No."

On whether McNabb has ever not practiced all week and then played in the game on Sunday: "I don't remember that. I remember he was limited a few weeks there, I can't remember if he practiced on the Friday or didn't practice on the Friday. I think where he is in his career he can do that."

On whether McNabb's rib has healed to point that it's "sticky": "I think it's sticky. When they start feeling better that's normally a sign that that's happened."

On whether he sees WR DeSean Jackson having a large role as the season progresses:"He's obviously a good player so teams will try to do things to try and take him away, but he's always going to be a big part of our game plan."

On why T/G Shawn Andrews would rehab in California rather than here: "We're just working on what's best for him. If he went to California he'd be near the doctor that did the surgery and that's where he rehabbed before."

On whether there is a difference between the Saints defense this season versus defenses he has seen in the past for Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams: "Not necessarily. He has a package that he's been doing and there's a lot to the package. We've seen a bunch of it when he was at Washington. He's a heck of a defensive coordinator; I'd even put him up there with the top defensive coordinators in the league. He's very good and very creative."

On whether there is any thought that Shawn Andrews might need surgery again: "No, not right now."

On advice he has given Kolb: "Just be yourself and go play. He's worked very hard for this opportunity. If given that opportunity just do your thing, be you."

On whether he is at all anxious about the lack of play the offense has had together thus far: "I'm not worried about it. You're right though, the offense hadn't been out there that much at that point in the game. I'm not worried about it and I'm not worried about Kevin."

On whether he is optimistic about Abiamiri playing: "He's getting treatment on it and we'll just see how he does. He didn't practice today. It's tender. We'll see how he does here the next few days."

On whether DE Jason Babin will be activated if Abiamiri can't play: "If he can't go then Jason will probably be up."

On whether there is a chance McNabb will go through the walkthrough tomorrow: "We'll see. There's a chance yeah."

On whether he thinks Garcia knows the offense well enough to play if need be: "I think he does with the exception of playing with the receivers and he hasn't been here for awhile. I think he'd be okay."

On why he decided to bring in a third QB: "If Donovan could not play then we don't have a backup if Kevin is the starter because [QB Michael] Vick obviously can't go. So therefore Jeff came in and he filled that role. If Donovan is healthy then you've got three quarterbacks and you role with it."

On where WR Reggie Brown stands in the receiver rotation: "We'll see how that goes over the next few weeks here. Reggie has a good attitude about it and he's been working hard out there."

On the importance of the running game Sunday: "We always try to get [RB] Brian [Westbrook] involved whether we hand it to him or throw it to him. We try to make sure that he touches that football enough because normally good things happen. The run game, it was important last week the way the game worked out and we'll just see how things go this week."
