Eagles Defensive Coordinator Bill Davis
On his impressions of DE Vinny Curry and LB Brad Jones playing at outside linebacker today:
"Not bad. Vinny was rushing more than he was dropping [back] and Brad hasn't been out there in a little while. We try to keep the preseason pretty simple call-wise. They did well."
On whether S Walter Thurmond III has a knack for forcing turnovers:
"We think so. This is the first time that I've been around Walt for any length of time. Since day one of [Organized Team Activities] he's been forcing the offense to turn the ball over. That was a pretty interception, wasn't it? One-handed grab."
On whether it is a big difference for Curry to rush the quarterback standing up as opposed to having his hand in the ground:
"I don't know if the stand-up part is, it's the dropping part that gets you. Vinny is so explosive. Vinny has a great feel. That's what the great pass rushers do."
