Game Vs. Jets: Head Coach Andy Reid

Opening statement: "Injuries real quick. (Winston) Justice will have an MRI in the morning, pectoral strain, as will (Dimitri) Patterson with an ankle sprain. He'll have an MRI in the morning. The positive out of this game was that we gave the twos and threes some playing time and have the opportunity to see the guys compete. I thought they did a good job the first half and the second half it looked like we lost some of our legs there and didn't finish as strong as we needed to.

"As far as Michael's (Vick) situation goes and the two game suspension by the Commissioner, we obviously respect his decision 100 percent and support it. I can't tell you about how we're going to handle Michael roster wise right now until I meet with Tom (Heckert) tomorrow and go through that. We'll handle that when it comes, but again we respect the decision of the Commissioner."

On importance of Vick practicing while suspended: "I'll cover that all tomorrow. I'll go through all the different scenarios with Tom (Heckert) and we'll work through it. It was great to get him work today. I thought that was very important. He had some quality snaps in the first half and the second half."

On team's conditioning: "I played all the twos and threes which really were some of the people that were banged up. It was really one group with a couple of substitutions. It was good that the guys got to play the whole game. We normally don't do that. We normally sub guys in, in certain positions where I thought guys got tired. But it's a great indicator for us as Tom (Heckert) and I make our decisions. We've got quality film on them."

On naming a back-up quarterback when Vick is eligible to return: "I haven't even gotten there yet. I'm going to go through all that and I've told you before that Kevin (Kolb) is our number two guy. Now it depends on how we work the roster on gameday, but in the long haul Kevin is our number two guy. That far I can tell you."

On how the Wildcat formation with Vick affected the team's offensive rhythm: "I'll go back and look at it, but for the most part I thought it worked out alright. There's some things we can still work on, but as far as the rhythm goes I wouldn't compare it to the first week. I think the first week we were just getting used to it. The second week obviously you're a little further into it."

On Vick's play in the second half: "I thought it was great to get him the work. He hasn't played in a long time and hasn't had that many snaps back to back. It was good to get him in there. I'm sure he'll be a little sore tomorrow, but that's okay. He has a couple of weeks to recover from it."

On if there were any guys that took big steps towards making the football team: "I don't know. I've got to go back and look at the film on that. It looked like a couple of guys in the secondary stepped up, played pretty good and made some plays as far as the tacking goes and some of the coverage things. I thought (Quintin) Demps, Macho (Harris) and (Sean) Jones kind of did a pretty good job back there."

On why he played Demps as long as he did: "I wanted him and Macho to work there along with Jones. I tried to get him, the best I could, equal reps. I don't think it quite came out equal, but I wanted to give them as much playing time as I could because they're competing for that spot. I'll go back and analyze it and we'll put the guy in there that we decide is the best guy for that spot."

On Vick's reaction to Roger Goodell's ruling: "He fully respects what the Commissioner did. Like I said, Michael's just glad to be back in football and playing. He's taking things in stride right now."

On his thoughts about Vick's decision making during the game: "I did see some good things. There are some things that he needs to work on. We'll do that. It will be good for him to see the tape and again, there were some nice things that he did."

On if Vick's ruling will change playing time for A.J. Feeley: "No, not at all."

On if the special teams has concerned him during the preseason: "I mentioned this before, with the twos and threes it has. Hopefully when we get all our guys in there that are going to be doing it, it's better than it is right now with the twos and threes."

On Kevin Kolb's performance: "I thought Kevin did a nice job. I thought he handled things well. Again, there are a couple of plays that he'd like to have back, but for the most part he really controlled the offense nicely."

On what the meeting was like between Vick and Goodell: "Michael is very humble right now, not that he hasn't always been that way. Michael has had that type of personality since I've known him. Again, this is the first time that I've coached him other than meeting him at the Pro Bowl. I just thought he took in what the Commissioner said. The Commisioner had a great conversation with him and it was an open table. I think it was good. It was healthy all the way around."

On if Vick's performance has fulfilled his expectations: "I think he got a chance to see that he's got a little juice in those legs. He turned it on there a couple of times. (It was) pretty impressive for a guy that hasn't been playing too much. He'll be sore tomorrow. I like some of the things I've seen. I think (they are) positive things."
