• Josh Johnson finds Noah Thomas twice in a row, the first for 18 yards on second down and the second for 14 yards all the way to the PHI 27.

• Sack! Rookie seventh-round pick Keyshawn James-Newby chases Josh Johnson out of the pocket, trips the quarterback up at the line of scrimmage. It's James-Newby's first sack in the NFL after missing the first two preseason games.

Standouts

RB Carson Steele

Another preseason game, another game leading the Eagles in receiving yards. Carson Steele racked up 52 receiving yards on eight catches and scored the lone Eagles touchdown of the night in the third quarter.

"Just being able to show my ability to catch on the outside of the backfield," Steele said when asked about his performance this preseason. "Not just being a running back, running the ball."

RB Dameon Pierce

After missing the first two preseason games with injury, Dameon Pierce showed his big play ability in the first half against the Bengals, rushing for 44 yards on only four attempts. The veteran sought contact and lowered his shoulder on every run.

LB Deontae Lawson

The undrafted rookie linebacker met the Bengals running backs multiple times at the line of scrimmage and even forced a fumble on the second half kickoff to give the ball to the Eagles offense.
