Free Agency Preview: Wide Receivers

The Eagles' wide receivers corps went through a bit of a face-lift during the 2015 offseason. Jeremy Maclin left the team to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs and Nelson Agholor was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. Agholor never quite hit his stride as a rookie, but he joined a young group of wide receivers, including Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff, who have all been selected by the Eagles in the first three rounds.

The Eagles have a very dynamic group and it will be exciting to see how the receivers respond to playing in a more traditional offense than the one they've played in previously under Chip Kelly. Matthews has been very reliable as the team's slot receiver during the past two seasons, but time will tell if he moves to the outside under the new coaching staff.

Two other players who started last season on the Eagles' roster, Riley Cooper and Miles Austin, are no longer with the team, leaving the young group without a veteran presence. So with that in mind, it's likely the Eagles will address the position in free agency and perhaps the draft as well.
