Eagles vs. Chiefs Injury Report

Dallas Goedert
Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert was one of three Eagles who did not participate in Wednesday's practice to start the week of preparation for Sunday's nationally televised matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Goedert played 52 offensive snaps (83 percent) in the season-opening win over Dallas. He led the Eagles with seven catches for 44 yards, effectively providing a security blanket for quarterback Jalen Hurts over the middle of the field.

Goedert missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury.

Quarterback Tanner McKee continues to miss time as he rehabs a right thumb injury. He did not suit up for the win over the Cowboys.

Running back Will Shipley exited the Thursday night win in the second quarter with what was deemed at the time a rib injury. The No. 2 back is officially on the injury report with an oblique injury that caused him to miss practice Wednesday.

Good news for the Eagles is that Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson, who exited the Dallas game early due to a back injury, was on the practice field in a limited capacity on Wednesday.

Outside linebacker Jalyx Hunt was also limited in practice with a hip injury.

Chiefs Injury Report

Xavier Worthy did not practice on Wednesday as he is dealing with a dislocated shoulder, suffered during a collision with teammate Travis Kelce in Friday night's loss to the Chargers in Brazil. Worthy is expected to be a playmaker for Kansas City, having contributed 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie in 2024.

Head Coach Andy Reid said that Worthy will not be placed on Injured Reserve at this moment, but his availability for Sunday's game against the Eagles is uncertain.

The only other Chief who did not participate in Wednesday's practice was Jalen Royals, a second-year wide receiver who missed the Chargers game with a knee injury.

Defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott was the only other player on last week's Game Status report. Norman-Lott did not play against Los Angeles.
