Eagles vs. Chiefs Injury Report

The Chiefs ruled out WR Xavier Worthy with a shoulder injury.

Dallas Goedert led the Eagles in Week 1 with seven receptions. Unfortunately, the Eagles will not have the tight end's services on Sunday in Kansas City.

Goedert was ruled out on Friday with a knee injury. He did not participate in practice all week. Head Coach Nick Sirianni praised the team's depth at the position on Friday as Grant Calcaterra is in line to start for Goedert.

"Grant's done a really good job of stepping in and playing when Dallas hasn't been able to play these last couple years," Sirianni said. "Really excited about Kylen and the things he can do, and I like both of our guys that are on practice squad (and they) have had meaningful reps in games, whether Cam (Latu) was in San Francisco or E.J. (Jenkins) played a lot for us last year and did really good job on special teams for us. Both developing players. So, really excited about those guys, and I think sometimes that's rare that you have those guys on the practice squad that have played and have contributed and that you can trust right at the beginning of the season. I believe that that's where that room is and excited about that room."

Calcaterra played 37 offensive snaps in the Week 1 win over Dallas. He started a career-high 13 games last season, hauling in 24 receptions for 298 yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles will also be without backup running back Will Shipley. The primary backup to Saquon Barkley had three carries for 26 yards and added a kickoff return for another 12-yard gain. Shipley suffered an oblique injury against the Cowboys. The Eagles acquired Tank Bigsby on Tuesday in a trade with the Jaguars to add depth to the running back room as well as handle kickoff returns.

"He's a dynamic player and he's going to add depth to our roster," Offensive Coordinator Kevin Patullo said. "I think he can make some plays for us offensively and we can use him in different ways."

"As I watch film across the league the last couple years, he's popped up a lot in Jacksonville in terms of those big 40-yard chunk runs," Special Teams Coordinator Michael Clay said. "Being a running back, he has that natural vision and feel when it comes to return the ball."

Rookie offensive tackle Cameron Williams will also miss the game with a shoulder injury. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and did not participate in practice on Friday.

Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson has no game status and was a full participant in Friday's practice. Dickerson is dealing with a back injury. Outside linebacker Jalyx Hunt is also good to go despite a hip injury that limited him in practice on Wednesday. He was full-go on Thursday and Friday and has no game status designation.

Quarterback Tanner McKee returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. He missed the Dallas game and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday with a right thumb injury. McKee is officially questionable for the Chiefs game. Sam Howell would serve as the No. 2 quarterback again if McKee can't play.

The Chiefs ruled out wide receiver Xavier Worthy on Saturday as the 2024 first-round pick dislocated his shoulder in Week 1. Worthy suffered the injury when he collided with teammate Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs will be without fellow wide receiver Jalen Royals, who remains out with a knee injury. He did not practice all week.

Everyone else practiced fully on Friday for Kansas City. No one else has a game status designation.

Thursday's Injury Report

Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson (back) and outside linebacker Jalyx Hunt (hip) improved to full participation on Thursday as the intensity builds towards Sunday's nationally televised showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. Both players were limited on Wednesday.

Dickerson played 52 offensive snaps and four on special teams before exiting the Thursday night win due to the back injury.

Hunt started on defense and was on the field for 39 defensive snaps.

Tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), quarterback Tanner McKee (right thumb), and running back Will Shipley (oblique) missed practice for a second straight day on Thursday.

Rookie offensive tackle Cameron Williams (shoulder) was added to the injury report on Thursday as a limited participant.

Worthy did not practice on Wednesday.

The only Chief who did not practice on Thursday is wide receiver Jalen Royals, who has been dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of the season opener.

Everyone else on the active roster was a full participant for the Chiefs on Thursday. Linebacker Drue Tranquill (knee) and guard Trey Smith (knee/illness) were upgraded from limited participation on Wednesday.

Wednesday's Injury Report

Dallas Goedert was one of three Eagles who did not participate in Wednesday's practice to start the week of preparation for Sunday's nationally televised matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Goedert played 52 offensive snaps (83 percent) in the season-opening win over Dallas. He led the Eagles with seven catches for 44 yards, effectively providing a security blanket for quarterback Jalen Hurts over the middle of the field.

Goedert missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury.

Quarterback Tanner McKee continues to miss time as he rehabs a right thumb injury. He did not suit up for the win over the Cowboys.

Running back Will Shipley exited the Thursday night win in the second quarter with what was deemed at the time a rib injury. The No. 2 back is officially on the injury report with an oblique injury that caused him to miss practice Wednesday.

Good news for the Eagles is that Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson, who exited the Dallas game early due to a back injury, was on the practice field in a limited capacity on Wednesday.

Outside linebacker Jalyx Hunt was also limited in practice with a hip injury.

Chiefs Injury Report

Xavier Worthy did not practice on Wednesday as he is dealing with a dislocated shoulder, suffered during a collision with teammate Travis Kelce in Friday night's loss to the Chargers in Brazil. Worthy is expected to be a playmaker for Kansas City, having contributed 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie in 2024.

Head Coach Andy Reid said that Worthy will not be placed on Injured Reserve at this moment, but his availability for Sunday's game against the Eagles is uncertain.

The only other Chief who did not participate in Wednesday's practice was Jalen Royals, a second-year wide receiver who missed the Chargers game with a knee injury.

Defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott was the only other player on last week's Game Status report. Norman-Lott did not play against Los Angeles.
