Tuesday Night Football ... The Eagles hosted the first Tuesday NFL game since October 1, 1946 when the NY Giants defeated the Boston Yanks 17-0. Overall, it was the 23rd NFL game ever played on Tuesday and the fifth by the Eagles.
Playoff Bound ...The Eagles clinched their sixth NFC East title (first since 2006) and their ninth playoff berth under Andy Reid. Since 2000, only Indianapolis (10) has made more playoff appearances, and only New England (8) has more division titles.
Vick's Career Year ... QB Michael Vick has set career highs in passing yards (3,018), passing touchdowns (21) and rushing touchdowns (9) this season. Vick is the only player in NFL history with at least 3,000 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, 500 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns in a single season. He is also just the second player ever with at least 20 passing and nine rushing touchdowns in a season (Pittsburgh's Kordell Stewart in 1997 was the other) ... Vick's 676 rushing yards this season are the second-highest single-season total ever by an Eagles quarterback. He trails Randall Cunningham (942 yards in 1990) for the team record ... Vick has scored a rushing touchdown in four straight games, tying for the fourth-longest streak in team history and the longest of his career.
McCoy is Catching On ... RB LeSean McCoy's 78 receptions this season lead all NFL running backs and rank as the sixth-best single-season total in team history. It is also the third-most by an Eagles running back, trailing Brian Westbrook's 90 in 2007 and Keith Byars' 81 in 1990.
Offensive Quick Hits ... TE Clay Harbor caught his first-career touchdown, becoming the 13th different Eagle to score this season ... TE Brent Celek set a regular-season career high with ten catches for a season-high 97 yards ... With 428 points this season, the Eagles are one point shy of their team record of 429 set last season ... WR Jeremy Maclin has 126 career receptions, trailing Keith Jackson (144) for the most ever by an Eagle in his first two seasons.
Defensive Nuggets ... DE Trent Cole posted his 10th sack of the season, becoming the first Eagle with double digit sacks in consecutive years since William Fuller in 1995-96 ... DE Juqua Parker picked up his sixth sack of the season and his 30th as an Eagle, passing Jerome Brown for 14th place on the team's all-time list ... Over the last two years, the Eagles have forced 71 takeaways, tying for the highest two-year total by an Eagles team since forcing 77 from 1999-00.
Birdseed ...DT Jeff Owens played in his first game, becoming the 15th Eagle to make his NFL debut this season ... The Eagles have averaged at least 4.0 yards per carry in all 15 games this season, which is the longest streak in NFL history to start a season.
