The team announced on Thursday that they have signed WR Tahj Washington and waived WR Brandon Hayes.

Signed WR Tahj Washington

Washington, age 25, was waived two days ago by the Miami Dolphins after two years with the AFC East team. The 5-foot-10 receiver started his collegiate career at Memphis before transferring to the University of Southern California ahead of the 2021 season. After an eight touchdown, 1,062-yard senior season with the Trojans, Washington was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Dolphins.

Washington appeared in six games for Miami in 2025, recording three receptions for 37 yards. He missed his rookie season in 2024 on Injured Reserve.

Waived WR Brandon Hayes

Brandon Hayes originally signed with the Eagles after a tryout at Rookie Mini Camp in May. After having been released in June, the receiver re-signed for the team ahead of preseason play on August 5th.

A product of Southeastern Louisiana, Hayes was a first-team All-Southland Conference selection for the second straight season as a kick returner. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi native was one of only five FCS players to return multiple kickoffs for touchdowns this past season, doing so in consecutive games. Hayes' 30.7-yard kickoff return average was the third best in all of the FCS.
