The Eagles signed wide receiver Dave Ball Saturday, filling the 90th roster spot left vacant by the release of William Powell. Ball, 29, played collegiately at New Hampshire where he overlapped with Eagles head coach Chip Kelly.

Ball, listed as 6-foot-1, 201 pounds, went undrafted in 2007 and spent time with the Chicago Bears and New York Jets, though he's never caught a pass in the regular season. Ball has also played in the Arena Football League and the Canadian Football League.

While at New Hampshire, Ball broke Jerry Rice's career 1-AA record with 58 touchdown receptions.

Ball becomes the 12th wide receiver on the Eagles roster.
