Eagles sign WR Tyrie Cleveland to the practice squad

Roster Move 2022 Season 1920

It's not just about the 53-man active roster. The Eagles are finding ways to improve at the margins ahead of the start of their playoff run on Saturday night against the New York Giants.

The Eagles signed wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland to the practice squad on Tuesday.

A former seventh-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft, Cleveland played in 23 games over the past three seasons, recording eight catches for 91 yards.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Cleveland finished the 2022 regular season on Denver's practice squad, making him a free agent once the season was over.

A product of the University of Florida, Cleveland made some highlight-reel catches, including a 98-yard touchdown as a freshman to beat LSU and clinch a spot in the SEC Championship. In his sophomore season, Cleveland hauled in a 63-yard Hail Mary to beat Tennessee and earn SEC Player of the Week honors.
