Eagles Sign RB Ervin To Replace Hill

Another player was plucked off of the Eagles practice squad as the Washington Redskins signed running back P.J. Hill. The Redskins earlier this season signed guard Paul Fanaika off of the Eagles practice squad.

To replace Hill on the practice squad, the Eagles signed running back Allen Ervin on Wednesday. The 5-10, 224-pound Ervin spent the 2008 season on the Detroit Lions practice squad after originally joining them earlier that year as a rookie free agent out of Lambuth.
