The Eagles officially signed quarterback Carson Wentz to his rookie contract on Thursday ahead of this weekend's Rookie Camp. Wentz will address the media on Friday at 12:30 PM, which you can watch live online and on our app. The team's entire draft class for 2016 is done from a negotiation standpoint.

Wentz, the No. 2 overall selection, comes to Philadelphia as the franchise's highest-drafted player since the team selected quarterback Donovan McNabb with the second overall pick in 1999. A two-year team captain at North Dakota State, Wentz led the Bison to back-to-back FCS National Championships in 2014 and 2015 and compiled a 20-3 overall record in his two seasons as a starter. He was also the Most Outstanding Player in both title games.

Despite starting just 23 games, Wentz finished his career ranked third in school history in career passing yards (5,115), passing touchdowns (45), completions (392), completion percentage (64.1) and passer efficiency rating (153.9). !
