The Eagles announced on Wednesday that the team has signed OL James Brockermeyer to the practice squad.

After going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, Brockermeyer signed with the Falcons as a free agent. Atlanta waived the rookie offensive lineman during final roster cuts on August 30th, but the team resigned him to the practice squad the following day. Brockermeyer was released from the Falcons' practice squad in late September.

The 6-foot-3, 298-pound offensive lineman spent his first three years of college football at Alabama before transferring to Texas Christian University for the 2024 season. Brockermeyer then transferred to the University of Miami in 2025, where he earned first-team All-American honors and helped the Hurricanes reach the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship. Brockermeyer's father, Blake Brockermeyer, had a 14-year career as an offensive tackle in the NFL, playing for the Panthers, Bears, and Broncos.

Astronaut (and Eagles fan) Christina Koch received a hero's welcome as an Honorary Captain against the Rams. After Sunday's game, the Artemis II crew member spent time with Eagles rookies, as well as science students from the Franklin Institute on Monday.
