Eagles Sign DE Egboh To Practice Squad

The Eagles have signed defensive end Pannel Egboh (pronounced puh-NELL EG-boh) to the practice squad. Egboh, 6-6, 287, fills the spot left open by the promotion of wide receiver Chad Hall.

Egboh was claimed by the Eagles on August 31 of this year and played in the final preseason game for the Eagles, notching a sack and forced fumble. He was released as part of the final roster cut-down. A four-year letterman at Stanford University, Egboh originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2009 and spent time on the Houston Texans practice squad that season. The Mesquite, TX native appeared in 40 games in his collegiate career, registering 98 tackles 15.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
