Following the reveal of the initial 53-man roster, the Eagles announced on Monday that they have signed the following 13 players to the practice squad. With the international player exemption spot open for Uar Bernard or Joshua Weru, the Eagles can add four more players to the practice squad.
DT Uar Bernard
The Eagles drafted Bernard in the seventh round this year from the NFL's International Pathway Program. The Nigerian rookie made his first-ever football tackle in Week 2 of the preseason against the Patriots.
LB Chance Campbell
A sixth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2022, Campbell first signed with the Eagles during Training Camp last offseason. The former University of Mississippi linebacker spent 2025 on the Eagles' practice squad.
WR Britain Covey
Covey first signed with the Eagles in 2022 as an undrafted free agent out of Utah. In 2025, Covey left the Eagles in free agency and signed with the Rams before quickly returning to the City of Brotherly Love as a member of the practice squad in August last offseason.
DT Gabe Hall
Hall returns for his third year on the Eagles practice squad. The former Baylor Bear originally signed with the team as an undrafted free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft.
OLB Keyshawn James-Newby
The Eagles drafted James-Newby in the seventh round this year out of New Mexico. The rookie edge rusher missed the first two preseason games with an ankle injury, but recorded a sack in the final preseason contest against the Bengals.
C/G Jake Majors
After signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2025, the Texas Longhorn joined the Eagles' practice squad last September after being waived by the Buccaneers with an injury designation.
T John Ojukwu
Ojukwu signed a reserve/future contract with the Eagles in January, 2026. The 27-year-old tackle spent his first three years in the league with the Titans after going undrafted out of Boise State in 2023.
RB Dameon Pierce
Pierce joined the Eagles during free agency this offseason after spending 2025 with the Chiefs. The former Texans' draft pick missed time during Training Camp with an injury but impressed in his lone preseason game, carrying the football four times for 44 yards against the Bengals.
S Maximus Pulley
The Eagles signed Pulley as an undrafted free agent out of Wofford this offseason. The rookie safety impressed during Training Camp and racked up 12 tackles in the preseason.
OLB Mason Reiger
The Eagles add Reiger to the practice squad after the rookie was waived earlier this month from Miami. Named the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl MVP, the Wisconsin Badger was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Dolphins and recorded a sack in Miami's preseason opener against the Commanders.
RB Carson Steele
After signing a reserve/future contract back in January with the Eagles, Steele made his mark during the preseason, recording two receiving touchdowns, leading the Eagles in receiving yards in two games, and hurdling two Patriots. The third-year running back originally signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2024 out of UCLA.
OLB Joshua Weru
The Eagles signed Weru as an undrafted free agent this offseason out of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. Weru made headlines this preseason when he sacked Patriot Behren Morton in his second-ever football game. The rookie edge rusher was a member of the Kenyan National Rugby Team before making the switch to football.
S Cole Wisniewski
Out of the Eagles' three seventh-round draft picks this offseason, Wisniewski was the first selected. The rookie safety out of Texas Tech missed the majority of Training Camp with a hamstring injury and a concussion. - Complied by Caroline Connor
