Eagles Shuffle Practice Squad

The Eagles made some changes to their practice squad on Tuesday signing former Penn State offensive lineman Gerald Cadogan and releasing offensive lineman Greg Isdaner and cornerback Stoney Woodson.

The Eagles have one open spot remaining on the practice squad, if they choose to utilize it. On Monday, the Eagles released wide receiver Jordan Norwood, who had previously been on the practice squad but was promoted to the active roster and played Sunday against Atlanta.

Cadogan took over the left tackle position at Penn State as a sophomore and two years later earned first-team All-Big 10 honors in 2008. Cadogan is also a two-time Academic All-America.The Nittany Lions averaged 205.8 rushing yards per game with the 6-5, 310-pound Cadogan anchoring the line last season. Cadogan was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Carolina Panthers and waived on Aug. 31. He spent time on the Bengals and Chargers practice squads prior to being signed by the Eagles.
