Eagles release TE Richard Rodgers off of Injured Reserve with an injury settlement

Meanwhile, quarterback Nate Sudfeld returned to practice for the first time since fracturing his wrist.

The Eagles made a roster move on Wednesday as the team released tight end Richard Rodgers off of Injured Reserve with an injury settlement.

On the field, as the team prepares for Sunday's showdown with Atlanta, only two players did not participate in Wednesday's practice for the Eagles: linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) and tackle Jordan Mailata (back).

Quarterback Nate Sudfeld, who suffered a fractured left (non-throwing) wrist in the preseason, returned to practice in a limited capacity.

Defensive end Derek Barnett and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (toe) were also limited.
