The Eagles announced on Thursday that they released offensive lineman Brett Toth.
Toth spent the entire 2022 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Prior to this season, Toth played in 17 career regular-season games, including 11 in the 2021 season. A versatile lineman, Toth has snaps at center, right guard, right tackle, and even as a tight end under his belt.
The 6-foot-6, 304-pound Toth originally joined the Eagles as a rookie free agent in the 2019 season. A first lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Toth received a waiver to pursue his NFL career while serving as an active-duty soldier. He worked as an instructor at Temple's ROTC program in the offseason.
