The Philadelphia Eagles and SportsRadio 94WIP are excited to announce that the 2014 Eagles Radiothon raised more than $290,000, exceeding last year's total by over $100,000 and setting a Radiothon record. All proceeds will benefit Eagles Youth Partnership (EYP) and its various programs that serve over 50,000 low income children in our community every year with a focus on health and education programming.

"We are amazed and so grateful for the amount of support and generosity our community has shown for the Eagles Radiothon as we surpassed last year's total by more than $100,000," said Sarah Martinez-Helfman, EYP Executive Director. "Eagles Youth Partnership would like to thank 94WIP hosts and staff, radio listeners, auction bidders and Eagles fans everywhere for so graciously offering their time, commitment and resources to a great cause. Underprivileged children in the Greater Philadelphia area will now receive the vital health and educational services needed, thanks to this community-wide effort. It's thrilling when sport becomes a force for good."

The three-day auction that ran from Tuesday, Sept. 2 to Thursday, Sept. 4 offered fans and 94WIP listeners the opportunity to bid on unique sports and entertainment experience prizes involving their favorite Eagles players and SportsRadio 94WIP radio personalities. Participating shows included Angelo Cataldi & The Morning Team (5:30 AM – 10 AM), Michael Barkann and Ike Reese (10 AM – 1 PM), Anthony Gargano and Rob Ellis (1 PM – 6 PM), and Josh Innes (6 PM – 10 PM).

"The kindness and generosity of WIP listeners and Eagles fans never fails to astonish me," said Senior VP/Market Manager CBS Radio Philadelphia, Marc Rayfield. "Every year the donations we raise during the WIP Eagles Radiothon exceeds our expectations, but this year we set an all-time record. The Radiothon is a source of pride among everybody at WIP. By working with Eagles Youth Partnership, we're able to help children here in the Delaware Valley through important programs that improve the local community."
