Head Coach Nick Sirianni knows coaching in Philadelphia is different.

So, it's no surprise that Tuesday evening's Public Practice at Lincoln Financial Field to benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation drew a crowd of more than 45,000 fans in the city's first chance to see the 2026 Philadelphia Eagles in action.

"I just know we have great fans that love the Eagles and it's always fun during camp to be able to have one of these," Sirianni said. "I always find it very interesting in the sense of the new guys that are here. I can really remember in 2022, Zach Pascal being like, 'Oh my God.' And it was like, 'This is different.' I'm used to it, but I really appreciate it and it just shows you the kind of home-field advantage that we have because of how passionate our fans are. I can't say enough good things about how much that helps us and how much we appreciate that, but it's always fun to see. I'm interested to see Tay's (WR Dontayvion Wicks) reaction tonight and Riq Woolen's reaction. It's always fun to see that."

Well, Woolen made quite a statement at the Public Practice with a pair of interceptions, including a pick-six to spark the defense to a 58-36 win in seven competitive periods where points are awarded for first-down conversions or stops, big plays, and touchdowns.

Tuesday was a critical opportunity for the players who are pushing for a roster spot after of Sunday's deadline to cut down the rosters to 53. Sirianni explained that the Public Practice will be graded as weighted heavily, along with the three preseason games (Friday is the preseason final vs. Bengals at 8 PM on CBS), the joint practices with the Patriots, and other operational practices.

First Team Period

• The first team period consisted of a move-the-ball session from the opponent's 35-yard line. Jalen Hurts hit wide receiver DeVonta Smith on a quick out route to convert a third-down play then the quarterback kept the ball himself for another third-down conversion to earn four points for the offense. But cornerback Quinyon Mitchell broke up a pass to get the offense off the field and earn two points for the defense.

• Andy Dalton was the next quarterback up. Outside linebacker A.J. Epenesa set the edge on a Tank Bigsby run to the right side which was followed by a pressure from outside linebacker Arnold Ebiketie to force a third-and-long. A short pass to Elijah Moore wasn't enough to move the chains and the defense tied the score.

• Moore didn't move the chains on the previous series, but he came up big with a play-action pass reception on second down followed by the first touchdown of the evening on a shallow cross from Dalton to give the offense an 8-6 lead following the opening team period.

Second Team Period

• This time, the offense started at its own 35-yard line. Mitchell broke up a pass deep down the middle intended for Smith. Outside linebacker Jalyx Hunt pressured Hurts a couple of times, but the quarterback escaped on third down and connected with Moore for the first down to add points to the offense. Hunt kept on the hunt by forcing an errant throw to set the tone for the next set of downs as the defense got off the field and cut into the offense's lead, making the score 10-8.

Pass Rush Drills

• Hunt continued his relentless pursuit of the quarterback as the offensive line and defensive line worked on 2-on-2 pass-rush drills. Hunt displayed the ability to win by getting both around and inside the offensive tackle. Epenesa showed impressive bend to get around the offensive tackle on one rep. On back-to-back reps Ebiketie displayed a good bull rush then drew a holding call. Offensive lineman Willie Lampkin displayed tremendous strength by locking onto his defender once in his grasp. Nolan Smith had consecutive reps where he first flashed inside the left tackle then got the tackle to bend over.

Third Team Period

• The offense opened this period with a 10-8 lead, starting with the ball at the 50-yard line. Cooper DeJean was all over a play-action pass attempt that was also helped by pressure from Hunt. The series ended with cornerback Riq Woolen's first interception of the evening to give seven points to the defense. On the next series, Hurts hit wide receiver Darius Cooper on a comeback route to set up a short Bigsby run to move the chains and make it 15-12 defense. Mitchell's coverage got the defense some added points as No. 27 shadowed wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks to force an incompletion then nearly picked off the third-down pass attempt to make it 17-12 defense.

Fourth Team Period

• A red zone period kicked off with Hurts' best throw of the night, an insane 20-yard touch pass in a tight window to running back Saquon Barkley, who ran up the middle and toward the back corner of the end zone. Amazing placement, great catch. The defense's lead was down to 17-16.

• Tanner McKee gets his first team action of the evening. On the second series, running back Will Shipley punched the ball in for a touchdown to give the offense a 21-19 lead. McKee's portion of the period ended with cornerback Kelee Ringo erasing a window for a throw to wide receiver Hollywood Brown to give two points for the defense to tie the score at 21-21.

• Welcome to Philadelphia, Makai Lemon! Hurts ended the period with a pass to Lemon out of the backfield to the left flat, which the first-round pick took to the end zone. The offense went into the fifth team period with a 25-21 lead.

Fifth Team Period

• From a red zone period to a backed-up situation, the offense opened with the ball at its own 3-yard line. Hunt and linebacker Zack Baun created havoc on third down to force a three-and-out and get four points for the defense to tie the score at 25-25. Led by Hurts, the offense regained the lead, however, with a series of first downs – first on a reception by tight end Cameron Latu, then a third-down conversion by Smith, and another catch by Smith. Hollywood Brown made his Lincoln Financial Field debut memorable with a touchdown reception on a crossing route to make it 10 straight points for the offense.

• The defense regained its composure with a quick three-and-out and the third-team unit to make it 35-29, offense.

Sixth Team Period

• Could the offense hold the lead in a four-minute drill, up by one with the ball near midfield? Baun and defensive tackle Jalen Carter got the ball for the defense with a run stuff on third down to make it 35-33. The offense got the chance to convert on fourth-and-1 and did so after an offsides penalty to make it 36-33.

• Dalton came in at quarterback. Defensive tackle Ty Robinson got in the backfield on first down and Epenesa chased down Dalton to make it third-and-long. The defense got four points and took a 37-36 lead, winning eight of the nine points in the session.

Final Team Period

• A two-minute drill to end practice as the first-team offense was down four at the end of the game. Woolen put an exclamation point on an outstanding practice, with an interception and pick-six on a pass attempt to the right side after Hunt came with pressure. The defensive stop, the turnover, and the touchdown for good measure gave the defense an insurmountable 51-36 lead.
