Eagles protect four practice squad players for Week 16

The Eagles protected the following four practice squad players on Tuesday for Week 16:

• RB Jordan Howard – Howard was called up for the Week 13 game in Green Bay. He gained 19 yards on four carries.

• LB Rashad Smith – The rookie linebacker made his NFL debut in the Week 14 win over Saints, playing seven snaps on special teams.

• T Prince Tega Wanogho – The rookie sixth-round pick has yet to make his NFL debut.

• TE Caleb Wilson – Wilson has played in three games this season for the Eagles, playing five snaps on offense against Seattle. He's also played 18 snaps on special teams over the three games, his first in the NFL.
