Eagles-Packers Post-Game Notebook

Here are some news and notes following the Eagles' 21-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers, courtesy of the Eagles media relations department. Defensive Nuggets... DE Darryl Tapp stripped the ball loose from Aaron Rodgers for his first career postseason sack and forced fumble. DE Juqua Parker recovered it, which led to an Eagles touchdown two plays later ... LB Keenan Clayton also notched his first career sack ... Altogether, the Packers committed four fumbles in the game, the second-most ever by an Eagles opponent in the playoffs (five on 1/11/81 in the NFC Championship game vs. Dallas).

Offensive Quick Hits ... WR Jason Avant caught his first touchdown reception in the playoffs and led the team with seven catches and 93 yards ... QB Michael Vick scored his first-career postseason rushing touchdown and threw for 292 yards, his highest total ever in the playoffs.

Green Akers ... K David Akers played in his 19th postseason game, passing Brian Dawkins for the team record. He has scored at least one point in all 19 of those games, tying George Blanda for the second-longest streak in NFL postseason history ... With 134 career postseason points, Akers passed Jerry Rice for third place in NFL history, trailing only Gary Anderson (153) and Adam Vinatieri (187) ... His 31 postseason field goals trail only Anderson (32) and Vinatieri (45).

Birdseed ... WR DeSean Jackson has amassed 145 career postseason punt return yards, surpassing Brian Mitchell (135) for the team record ... S Quintin Mikell played in his 12th postseason game, tying for the eight-highest total in team history.
