The Philadelphia Eagles today announced their 2010 regular season schedule, highlighted with at least eight nationally televised games. The Eagles are slated to be on NBC's Sunday Night Football at least three times (at San Francisco on October 10, vs. NY Giants on November 21, and at Dallas on December 12). They will also play on ESPN's Monday Night Football (at Washington on November 15) and on the NFL Network (vs. Houston on Thursday, December 2).

"The schedule release is a day of great anticipation around the NFL," said Eagles president Joe Banner. "Having eight nationally televised games is an incredible testament to the popularity of the team and the optimism about the Eagles on a regional and national scale. I'm also happy that we are at home during the final two weeks of the season against Minnesota and Dallas. I think the NFL has done a great job creating a fan-friendly scheduling process in recent years by having a plethora of divisional games toward the latter part of the season."

The Eagles open up their 2010 campaign vs. Green Bay followed by two straight road games at Detroit and Jacksonville. The Eagles then host Donovan McNabb and the Washington Redskins at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, October 3 at 4:15 pm. The Eagles' bye week occurs on the weekend of Halloween (Sunday, October 31). Following the bye week, Philadelphia is slated to play five nationally televised contests in a span of six weeks. They play five divisional opponents during the final eight weeks of the season, including all four match-ups with the Cowboys and the Giants. The Eagles conclude the regular season with a pair of home games against Minnesota and Dallas. In fact, their season finale will be played against their divisional rival Cowboys for the third consecutive season.

Other scheduling nuggets:
• Houston and Indianapolis will make their first ever visits to Lincoln Financial Field. Both clubs last played in Philadelphia at Veterans Stadium in 2002.
• The Eagles will play the Chicago Bears for the fourth consecutive year and at Chicago for the third consecutive season. The past three contests between the Eagles and Bears have been decided by four points or less.
• The Eagles will visit Washington for a Monday night contest for the second consecutive season
• The Eagles-Packers matchup will be the 50th meeting between the two teams (including playoffs). Andy Reid is 5-2 against his former team, including a 4-0 record in games in Philadelphia.
• The Eagles visit Jacksonville for the first time since Super Bowl 39 when they squared off against the New England Patriots
• Philadelphia makes their 2nd appearance on the NFL Network vs. Houston on Thursday, December 2nd. Their only other game on the NFL Network was vs. Arizona on Thanksgiving night in 2008.

The final seven weeks of the NFL season (except for the December 2nd game vs. Houston) are subject to flex scheduling and starting times for those games listed below are subject to change.
