Eagles Lose Anderson, Asomugha

SEATTLE -The Eagles suffered two significant injuries in the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Special teams ace Colt Anderson, the team's leader in special teams production points by a large margin, suffered a torn left ACL. It's a brutal blow for the Eagles and Anderson, who was playing in front of over 200 fans, comprised of friends and family from his hometown of Missoula, Montana.

A few plays later, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha suffered a neck injury while breaking up a third-down pass. On the play, Seahawks wide receiver Mike Williams climbed over Asomugha and landed on his neck. Asomugha was taken to the locker room for evaluation of a possible head injury and also was ruled out for the remainder of the game. He was replaced at cornerback by Joselio Hanson in the base defense, while Brandon Hughes and Curtis Marsh both saw time in the nickel defense.
