Eagles-Lions Post-Game Notebook

Here are some news and notes following the Eagles' 35-32 win over the Detroit Lions.

Records under Reid ... With a win over the Lions, Andy Reid improved his record to 15-5 against the NFC North (8-3 on the road), and 3-0 against the Lions ...The Eagles have scored 91 points in their last two contests against Detroit ... Philadelphia is 48-2 under Reid when scoring 30-plus points and 42-6 when winning the turnover battle by two or more.

Vick-tory ... QB Michael Vick led the Eagles to their first win of the season, and his first as a starting quarterback since 12/10/06 at Tampa Bay, as he threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns with a quarterback rating of 108.0, and adding 37 yards on the ground. It was the fourth-highest passing yardage output of his career, and his second time exceeding a quarterback rating of 100 in back-to-back games ...His 45-yard touchdown pass to WR DeSean Jackson was the fifth-longest touchdown pass of his career (including playoffs), and his longest in the regular season since 12/12/05 vs. New Orleans (54-yarder to Roddy White).

M&Ms ... RB LeSean McCoy had his first-career multi-touchdown game, rushing for his second, third, and fourth scores of the season, and matching his scoring total from 2009. The last Eagle with three rushing touchdowns in a game was Charlie Garner on 10/8/95 vs. Washington. McCoy also racked up a career-high 120 rushing yards, marking his first 100-yard game and the highest output by an Eagles running back since Brian Westbrook had 131 yards on 12/7/08 at NY Giants ...WR Jeremy Maclin added his second receiving touchdown of the season and the sixth of his career. It is the first time either Maclin or McCoy has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games.

Nasty Nate ... With an interception in the Eagles end zone on the opening possession of the game, S Nate Allen became the first Eagles rookie to notch an interception in the first two games of the season since DB Brenard Wilson in 1979. Eagles DB Randy Logan also did so in 1973 ...According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the last rookies to do so in the NFL were Michael Boulware (Seahawks), Gibril Wilson (Giants) and Erik Coleman (Jets) in 2004.

Big Play DJ ... WR DeSean Jackson scored his first touchdown of the season, a 45-yarder, and racked up 135 receiving yards, the fourth-highest total of his career and his eighth 100-yard game ...Jackson also tacked on 15 punt return yards and now has 910 in his career, passing John Sciarra (909) for the 5th-highest total in team history.

Defensive Nuggets ... DE Brandon Graham registered his first-career sack and DE Juqua Parker added his third of the season. The Eagles have had a sack in 21 consecutive regular season games, trailing only Pittsburgh (27) for the longest streak in the NFL. Philadelphia also has had two or more sacks in each of the last seven contests ...CB Ellis Hobbs picked up his first interception as an Eagle and his first since 12/21/08 vs. Arizona as a member of the Patriots. The Eagles have had two interceptions in both games this season.

Birdseed ... Vick completed passes to nine different receivers, including WR Riley Cooper, who notched his first-career catch, and FB Owen Schmitt who had two catches for a career-high 21 yards in his first game as an Eagle ...P Sav Rocca had another strong game, booting seven punts for a 48.7-yard gross average, his second-straight game exceeding 48 yards per punt.
