Eagles Get Fresh Turf To Begin Stretch Run

If (when) the Eagles defeat the Arizona Cardinals later today, head coach Chip Kelly might have to give a tip of the cap to someone behind the scenes - director of grounds Tony Leonard.

The Eagles return from the holiday and the bye week with newly installed sod at Lincoln Financial Field. The field was previously re-sodded in late July prior to Training Camp.

Including today, the Eagles have three home games remaining in the regular season. In addition to the five home games already played at Lincoln Financial Field this regular season, the Eagles had open Training Camp practices at the stadium for the first time since the stadium opened in 2003, two preseason games and Temple football hosted six games as well.
