Eagles Express Sympathies For Cunningham

The Eagles family expressed its sympathies to Randall Cunningham and wife Felicity and their family for the loss of their 2-year-old son, Christian, who died in what authorities say was an accidental backyard hot tub drowning.

"The entire Eagles organization is horribly saddened by this tragic accident. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Randall, his wife Felicity and his entire family," said Jeffrey and Christina Lurie and team president Joe Banner in a statement.

Cunningham, of course, played with the Eagles from 1985-95 after the Eagles made him a second-round draft pick from UNLV. He was inducted into the franchise's Honor Roll last season and was accompanied to Philadelphia by his entire family.

The loss has been felt by everyone in the Eagles family.
