The Eagles elevated two players from the practice squad for the Black Friday matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Outside linebacker Patrick Johnson has played in eight games this season, registering three tackles and his first career sack. He was elevated from the practice squad for the season opener against Dallas and then was signed to the active roster. He was re-signed to the practice squad after being released on November 4 and then was elevated for the Monday night win over the Packers.

Safety Andre' Sam has spent the entire season on the Eagles' practice squad. A rookie free agent signing of the Eagles out of LSU in 2024, Sam was elevated from the practice squad against Carolina last season, where he registered a tackle on special teams. Sam adds safety depth following the injury to Andrew Mukuba, who was placed on Injured Reserve. Reed Blankenship and Sydney Brown will start at safety and Michael Carter II can provide depth as well.
