The Eagles announced on Saturday that they have elevated safety Andre' Sam from the practice squad for Sunday's matinee showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.
This is the third time this season the Eagles have elevated Sam, meaning they will need to put him on the active roster to play again in 2025.
A rookie free agent signing of the Eagles out of LSU in 2024, Sam spent his rookie season on the team's practice squad, making his NFL debut in the Week 14 win over the Panthers.
Sam was elevated for the previous two contests against the Bears and Chargers, playing 19 snaps exclusively on special teams.
The 5-foot-10, 194-pound Sam would provide additional depth at safety behind Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown, and Marcus Epps.
