The Eagles lead by 21 in the first half but lose in Dallas.

The Eagles lead by 21 points in the first half but fell to the Cowboys on the road, 24-21.

Here is how it happened:

1st Quarter

4th-and-3 at 50 (11:56)

  • Fourth Down Stop! A week after stopping the Lions five times on fourth down, the Eagles get a turnover on downs during Dallas' opening drive. Dak Prescott targeted Javonte Williams, but Nakobe Dean was in tight coverage to force an incompletion.

3rd-and-6 at DAL 16 (8:45)

  • TOUCHDOWN! Jalen Hurts finds A.J. Brown for a 16-yard touchdown on Philadelphia's opening drive! Brown caught all three of his targets for 31 yards on the possession while Saquon Barkley added a 14-yard grab. The Eagles started at midfield after a fourth down stop. (Eagles 7 – Cowboys 0)

2nd-and-goal at DAL 7 (1:02)

  • TOUCHDOWN! Jalen Hurts runs 7 yards up the middle for a touchdown to extend the Eagles lead! Philadelphia went 61 yards on 12 plays for the score. Their drive was extended by a roughing the kicker penalty on a 4th-and-10 punt. (Eagles 14 – Cowboys 0)

2nd Quarter

1st-and-10 at PHI 31 (14:49)

  • Fumble! Kavontae Turpin fumbles and Zack Baun recovers! Dallas was threatening in Eagles territory, but the takeaway ends the Cowboys' most promising drive of the game.

1st-and-goal at DAL 1 (11:35)

  • TOUCHDOWN! Jalen Hurts scores on a Tush Push, presented by DUDE Wipes, to make it a three-possession game! The drive was highlighted by a 41-yard bomb from Hurts to DeVonta Smith on 3rd-and-12. Smith had a 10-yard catch-and-run on a push pass on the following play to set up Hurts' score. (Eagles 21 – Cowboys 0)

2nd-and-goal at PHI 5 (5:07)

  • INTERCEPTION! Reed Blankenship picks of Dak Prescott in the end zone! Dallas had the ball on Philadelphia's 1-yard line, but a false start followed by the interception leads to the Eagles taking over.

1st-and-goal at PHI 1 (:24)

  • The Cowboys get on the board right before halftime with a 1-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens. A 48-yard catch-and-run by Kavontae Turpin sparked the drive. Philadelphia will receive the second half kickoff. (Eagles 21 – Cowboys 7)

3rd Quarter

4th-and-9 at PHI 33 (6:39)

  • Missed Field Goal! Brandon Aubrey misses a 51-yard field goal wide left! The Eagles take over at Dallas' 41-yard line.

1st-and-goal at PHI 4 (2:07)

  • The Cowboys make it a one-possession game with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Brevyn Spann-Ford. Dak Prescott found CeeDee Lamb for a 48-yard completion on 3rd-and-5 to keep the drive going and get Dallas deep in Philadelphia territory. (Eagles 21 – Cowboys 14)

4th Quarter

2nd-and-7 at PHI 8 (11:47)

  • The Cowboys tie the game on an 8-yard run from Dak Prescott. Prescott and George Pickens connected on a 43-yard pass earlier in the drive. (Eagles 21 – Cowboys 21)

4th-and-goal at PHI 1 (3:46)

  • HUGE STOP! After Xavier Gipson fumbles inside the Eagles 10-yard line, the Eagles hold the Cowboys on 4th down and get the ball back with 3:38 remaining.

4th-and-12 at PHI 24 (:03)

  • Brandon Aubrey makes a 42-yard field goal and the Eagles fall to the Cowboys, 24-21.
