Eagles-Colts Post-Game Notebook

Reid's Records … Head coach Andy Reid improved his record to a perfect 12-0 following the team's bye week, and registered his 123rd career victory, tying Sid Gillman for 28th place in NFL history … Reid defeated the Colts for the first time as a head coach, and has now won a game against 30 of 31 possible opponents (Tennessee being the lone remaining team) … The Eagles snapped the Colts 13-game November winning streak, which was tied for the third-longest in NFL history … The last time the Eagles defeated the Colts was on 12/13/93 with Rich Kotite as head coach and Bubby Brister at quarterback … Overall, Reid's record from November on is 64-33-1 (.653).

MV7 … QB Michael Vick returned from a three-game layoff after suffering a rib injury and threw for 218 yards and a touchdown on 17 of 29 passing for a quarterback rating of 93.8. His passer rating has exceeded 90 in all five of his games this season … Vick has attempted 154 consecutive passes without throwing an interception, which is the longest streak of his career, surpassing his previous record of 143 to start the 2002 season … Vick also rushed 10 times for 74 yards and scored his second rushing touchdown of the season and the 25th of his career. He has racked up 4,215 career rushing yards, trailing only Randall Cunningham (4,928) and Steve Young (4,239) for the NFL record among quarterbacks.

Picking on the Opposition … CB Asante Samuel intercepted Peyton Manning twice and now has a team-high five this season and 40 in his career. It marked Samuel's seventh-career multi-pick game (7-0 record) and was the first time all season that Manning had been intercepted twice in a game … Samuel is the only player in the NFL with at least four interceptions in each of the last five seasons (2006-10) … The Eagles now have at least one interception in 11 consecutive contests, their longest streak since going 11 straight from 11/26/06 to 10/14/07 … Overall, Philadelphia has forced 17 takeaways this season.

Offensive Quick Hits … After missing the last game while recovering from a concussion, WR DeSean Jackson returned to post 109 yards on seven catches and caught his 15th career receiving touchdown. Jackson has amassed 10 career 100-yard games (three in 2010), tying Irving Fryar and Bobby Walston for the 10th most in team history … RB LeSean McCoy rushed 16 times for 95 yards, including a 62-yarder on the opening play from scrimmage, the second-longest of his career. McCoy has a career-high 41 receptions this season … The Eagles had a season-long 96-yard drive on nine plays that resulted in a field goal … The offense generated 195 rushing yards on the day, their highest total since gaining 202 on 11/18/07 vs. Miami.

Green Akers … K David Akers played in his 180th game as an Eagle, tying Harold Carmichael for second on the team's all-time list. He trails Brian Dawkins (183) for the team record … Akers connected on all four of his field goal attempts for the second-straight game and has now made nine in a row. It marks the second time Akers has made four-or-more field goals in back-to-back games (11/23/03 vs. NO and 11/30/03 at Carolina) … Akers booted three touchbacks and now has 11 in his last three games and 15 so far this season, which is the second highest total of his career (17 in 2008).

Sack Streak Continues … Overall, the Eagles defense sacked Manning three times, which is the highest number surrendered by the Colts since allowing three on 11/1/09 vs. SF … DE Darryl Tapp picked up his second sack of the season, extending Philadelphia's streak to 27 consecutive games with at least one sack, which is the second-longest in the NFL (Pittsburgh – 31) and the longest by an Eagles team since a 30-game streak from 9/14/03 to 12/27/04 … LB Ernie Sims also notched his second sack of the season, setting a career high, and DE Trent Cole registered his team-leading seventh of the season and the 54th of his career, trailing Hugh Douglas (54.5) for the third-highest total in team history.

The Run Stops Here … The Eagles defense held the colts to just 62 rushing yards, and have now held their opponents to 75 or fewer in each of the last four games, their first time doing so in four consecutive games since 9/12/94 to 10/9/94 … They also have not allowed a 100-yard rusher all season.

Starting Strong … The Eagles scored their fourth opening-drive touchdown of the season. Since 1999, the Eagles are 36-9 when doing so (4-0 in 2010).

Birdseed … P Sav Rocca played in his 56th game, passing Dirk Johnson for the fifth-most among Eagles punters … LS Jon Dorenbos played in his 100th NFL game … LB Keenan Clayton played in his first NFL game, becoming the 13th Eagle to do so this season.
