When the Eagles hosted the Chiefs last season at Lincoln Financial Field, we told the story of Billy Welsh, an Eagles fan who received a kidney from a fellow Marine he used to serve with, John Gladwell.
Gladwell, of course, just so happens to be a Chiefs fan, who made the trip from Kansas City to Philadelphia for the game.
When the two teams secured their spots in Super Bowl LVII, the Eagles and the Chiefs ensured that Welsh and Gladwell would be able to enjoy the big game together. Here, Eagles President Don Smolenski and Chiefs President Mark Donovan reveal the big surprise.
