The Eagles pick up a nail-biting win in Buffalo, holding the Bills on a two-point attempt to win, 13-12. Here is how it happened in real time:

1st Quarter

3rd-and-8 at PHI 49 (9:25)

  • Sack! Jalyx Hunt brings down Josh Allen on third down to force a Bills punt on their opening possession!

2nd-and-2 at PHI 22 (4:08)

  • Strip Sack! Jaelan Phillips knocks the ball lose from Josh Allen and Jihaad Campbell recovers past midfield! The Bills were threatening deep in Philadelphia territory after Brandin Cooks hauled in a 50-yard grab, but the turnover flipped the field.

2nd-and-goal at BUF 1 (:38)

  • TOUCHDOWN! Jalen Hurts connects with Dallas Goedert for a 1-yard touchdown to strike first in Buffalo! The score was Goedert's 11th receiving touchdown this season, breaking the franchise's single-season record for a tight end previously set by Pete Retzlaff in 1965.
  • The drive started after Jaelan Phillips had a strip sack of Josh Allen that Jihaad Campbell recovered in Buffalo territory. Jalen Hurts found A.J. Brown for 27 yards to set Philadelphia up in the red zone. (Eagles 7 – Bills 0)

2nd-and-9 at BUF 33 (4:20)

  • Sack! Jalen Carter returns to action and makes an immediate impact, bringing down Josh Allen for a 9-yard loss! That set up 3rd-and-long, which was blown up by a major hit from Reed Blankenship.

4th-and-5 at BUF 10 (:08)

  • Field Goal! The Eagles add to their lead right before halftime on a 28-yard field goal by Jake Elliott, putting him in the 1,000-point club for his career! The Eagles went 61 yards on 10 plays as A.J. Brown topped 1,000 receiving yards this season on the drive. Buffalo will get the ball to start the second half. (Eagles 13 – Bills 0)

3rd Quarter

3rd-and-15 at BUF 48 (6:39)

  • Bills Punt! A 1st down sack by Moro Ojomo helped push the Bills back and led to a Buffalo punt. The Eagles defense has dominated all afternoon and has four sacks already.

4th-and-goal at PHI 3 (2:25)

  • FOURTH DOWN STOP! The Eagles hold Josh Allen out of the end zone on 4th-and-goal with Zack Baun bringing him down at the 1-yard line! The Eagles keep Buffalo off the board.

4th Quarter

3rd-and-8 at PHI 27 (13:41)

  • Sack! Jalyx Hunt takes down Josh Allen for 19-yard loss, kicking the Bills out of field goal range! It is Hunt's second sack of the game, and he now has a team-high 6.5 on the season.

3rd-and-goal at PHI 2 (5:11)

  • The Bills get their first points with a 2-yard touchdown run by Josh Allen. The extra point was blocked by Jalen Carter to keep it a seven-point game. Buffalo went 54 yards on 11 plays for the score. (Eagles 13 – Bills 6)

Two-Point Attempt at PHI 2 (:05)

  • TWO-POINT STOP!!!!! The Eagles hold the Bills on a two-point conversion attempt and Philadelphia holds on for the win!!!! The Bills scored with five seconds remaining but can't convert the two-point try. (Eagles 13 – Bills 12)

Standouts

OLB Jaelan Phillips

Phillips had the turning point early in the game, strip sacking Josh Allen with the Bills in Eagles territory. Jihaad Campbell covered the fumble past midfield, and the Eagles got their first touchdown of the game. Phillips finished with six total tackles.

OLB Jalyx Hunt

Hunt had maybe his best game as a pro. He posted two sacks, including one that kicked the Bills out of field goal range. Hunt now has a team-high 6.5 sacks this season.

DT Jalen Carter

Carter did not disappoint in his return to the field. He had a monster sack of Josh Allen and then blocked an extra point in the fourth quarter the proved to be pivotal as the Bills needed a two-point conversion for the win.

DB Cooper DeJean

DeJean set a new career-high with nine tackles against the Bills. He was all over the field and continues his Pro Bowl second season.

Up Next

The Eagles return to Lincoln Financial Field for the regular season finale against the Washington Commanders (4-12). It will be Philadelphia's third Kelly Green game of the season.
