Wide receiver Britain Covey and safety Andre' Sam will make their season debuts for the Eagles on Black Friday against the Bears.

The Eagles signed Covey to the active roster after Philadelphia placed rookie safety Andrew Mukuba on Injured Reserve. Covey is expected to slot in as a return man with Xavier Gipson sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Sam, who was elevated from the practice squad, provides depth at safety with Mukuba sidelined.
Right tackle Lane Johnson will miss his second straight game with a foot injury. Fred Johnson is set to start in his place.
Outside linebacker Joshua Uche is inactive for the first time this season. The Eagles elevated Patrick Johnson from the practice squad ahead of the game, and he will serve as Philadelphia's sixth outside linebacker.

Jaylon Johnson active for Bears
Bears starting cornerback Jaylon Johnson is officially active against the Eagles. Johnson only played in the season opener before going on Injured Reserve due to a groin injury. Chicago will also be without Tyrique Stevenson, who had been starting for the Bears.
