Eagles Announce Preseason Broadcast Crew

The Philadelphia Eagles are pleased to announce the 2010 pre-season broadcast lineup, including former Eagles player Hugh Douglas, noted sports reporter and Eagles enthusiast Don Tollefson, and NFL executive and sports pundit Charley Casserly. Rounding out the commentators is 6ABC Action News Sports Anchor Jamie Apody, who will report from the sidelines.

This experienced group will bring enthusiasm and on-field knowledge to the broadcast. The broadcast crew will be part of the Eagles games: Friday, August 13, at 7:30 p.m. at home versus the Jaguars; Friday, August 27, at 8:00 p.m. at Kansas City; and Thursday, September 2, at 7:30 p.m. at home versus the Jets. Eagles Television Network will present the preseason broadcasts on 6ABC.

"I have been here since my playing days and I love working in the field of broadcasting," said color analyst and former Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas. "This is a great way to connect with the most passionate and honest fans in the NFL. They tell you exactly how they feel and I am excited to bring the game back to life."

"I am so excited to have the opportunity to be formally associated with the team I have covered for 36 years," said noted sports reporter and play-by-play analyst, Don Tollefson. "My priority in the booth is to make Eagles fans just as knowledgeable and excited as I am about the new-look 2010 Eagles!"

"I am thrilled to be back with the Eagles Television Network again. It is an absolute honor to work with Don Tollefson, Hugh Douglas and Jamie Apody" said Charley Casserly, past NFL general manager and on-air expert. "I think the Eagles are going to be one of the most exciting teams in the league this year."

"This is the moment fans have been waiting for since the end of last season," said Action News Sports Anchor Jamie Apody. "We're glad to be a part of it and can't wait for kickoff."

On August 13, 6ABC will produce and air a pregame special broadcast, hosted by the Action News Sports Team, at 7:00 p.m.
