The Eagles and the Giants announced on Wednesday that both teams will wear alternate uniforms – Kelly Green for the Eagles and Vintage Color Rush for the Giants – for their Week 9 matchup at Lincoln Financial Field.
If Eagles fans were worried that it was the only Kelly Green game of the 2026 season, rest assured that is not the case.
The Eagles will also wear the classic Kelly Green uniforms on Christmas Eve when the Houston Texans come to Philadelphia in Week 16. The team will also sport the all-black uniforms in the clash of the last two Super Bowl Champions on Saturday, December 19 at Lincoln Financial Field against the Seattle Seahawks.
Here is the full slate of when the Eagles will wear alternate uniforms in the 2026 season:
- Week 9 vs. Giants (Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1 PM), Kelly Green
- Week 15 vs. Seahawks (Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5 PM), Black
- Week 16 vs. Texans (Thursday, Dec. 24 at 8:15 PM), Kelly Green
All three games are at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Eagles debuted the all-black uniform in 2022 when the NFL allowed teams to have an additional helmet. Previously, the Eagles wore the Midnight Green helmet with the black jersey. Philadelphia won a wild Sunday night matchup in primetime against the Green Bay Packers in that 2022 season, wearing the all-black uniforms to improve to 10-1 on the way to Super Bowl LVII.
The '90s-era Kelly Green Eagles uniform resurfaced in 2023, representing "a throwback to an era of Philadelphia Eagles football that resonates with a generation of fans" when the likes of Randall Cunningham and Reggie White dominated on the field.
In 2023, the Eagles wore the Kelly Green uniform in their AFC East victories over the Dolphins and the Bills. During the Super Bowl LIX campaign, the Eagles reintroduced the Kelly Green uniform to the NFC East rivalries in a 41-7 win over the Cowboys. The Eagles sported the Kelly Green uniform exclusively against the NFC East last year, including a 38-20 triumph against the Giants.
