Eagles Add T Andrew Gardner

On Monday, the Eagles bolstered the depth on their offensive line by adding tackle Andrew Gardner to the 90-man roster.

Standing at 6-foot-6, 308 pounds, Gardner was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the sixth round of the 2009 draft. The Georgia Tech product has also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals. Most recently, Gardner was a member of the Houston Texans from 2011-2013.

Collegiately, Gardner started 48 games at Georgia Tech. He was named to the 2005 All-ACC freshman team, and earned honorable mention All-ACC honors as a sophomore. The Chamblee, GA native earned first-team All-ACC honors in both his junior and senior seasons.

Gardner is the eighth former Texan on the Eagles roster, joining James Casey, Connor Barwin, Bryan Braman, Donnie Jones, Roc Carmichael, Jeff Maehl, and DeMeco Ryans.
