Eagles activate C/G Jack Anderson from Injured Reserve

The Eagles made a roster move on Tuesday ahead of kickoff against the Washington Football Team. The Eagles activated rookie center/guard Jack Anderson from the Injured Reserve list.

Anderson was placed on Injured Reserve on November 20, just before the Eagles' matchup with the New Orleans Saints, due to a hamstring injury. The roster move is even more notable with Landon Dickerson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Anderson was active, but did not play in Week 4 against the Chiefs. He has otherwise been inactive on gamedays this season.

Signed off the Bills' practice squad on September 21, Anderson is a rookie out of Texas Tech. He was a seventh-round pick (No. 236 overall) of the Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old started all 38 games he played for the Red Raiders, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020. The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Anderson was also a team captain and two-time first-team All-Big 12 Academic selection. Anderson is a native of Frisco, Texas.
