Eagles activate 21-day practice windows for G Brandon Brooks, LB Davion Taylor

The Eagles activated the 21-day practice windows for Pro Bowl guard Brandon Brooks and rookie linebacker Davion Taylor on Wednesday.

Brooks proves once again to be a physical marvel as he ruptured his Achilles tendon in June, ending his 2020 season before Training Camp started. This move allows Brooks to ramp up his rehab work to serve as a launch point into the offseason. He is not playing in Week 17 against Washington.

As for Taylor, the rookie third-round pick suffered a knee injury in the Week 13 game at Green Bay. He played in 12 games (one start), registering five tackles on defense in 32 snaps. He's also made seven stops on special teams this season. Taylor has a chance to return to the lineup for Sunday's season finale.
