Dorenbos Ready; Nicks Out For Giants

The Eagles did not promote long snapper Kyle Nelson from the practice squad before the Saturday 4 PM deadline which means that Jon Dorenbos should be good to play Sunday night against the Giants despite his questionable status due to a high ankle sprain.

Meanwhile, the Giants announced officially on Saturday prior to leaving for Philadelphia that wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has been downgraded from doubtful to out due to foot and knee injuries. He did not travel with the team. Wide receiver Ramses Barden started in place of Nicks in Week 3 against Carolina.

It does, however, look like that starting safety Antrel Rolle will play for the Giants. Sal Paolantonio of ESPN reports that Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has informed him that Rolle will suit up against the Eagles. Rolle injured his knee against Carolina when he ran into a camera man in the back of the end zone. Rolle has been used as a blitzer against the Eagles and is key to their game plan.

Our live gameday coverage begins at 6 PM on Sunday with the Brian Dawkins Jersey Retirement ceremony. You can watch it live on PhiladelphiaEagles.com or on the Official Eagles Mobile App.
