DE Cole, CB Samuel, QB Vick + WR Maclin

DE Trent Cole

On his thoughts about being in desperate situations before and how he relays that message to younger players: "You know, I tell them we're just going to play until the end and encourage everybody to play until the end and play like it's your last game because anything can happen, it's the NFL. And I get my experiences just from previous seasons and how we've managed to jump in there. As long as we keep winning these games and win out, then we'll be good."

On whether he consciously looks around to make sure that his teammates aren't hanging their heads: "Like I said, being one of the older guys on the team you try to keep the spirits up and just keep everybody having fun in practice and just keep everything alive and keep going and stuff."

On his thoughts about Jets LT D'Brickashaw Ferguson: "They paid him (laughing). But I'm looking forward to the battle and we'll see what happens from there."

On whether going against a guy like T Jason Peters in practice helps prepare him for Ferguson: "I can't comment to Jason Peters. But like I said, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, he's done well for them. He's a tall guy, he has long arms and he seems to get it done."

On his thoughts about Jets QB Mark Sanchez:"We're going to get there as fast as we can, that's all I'm going to say." * * On whether Sanchez has improved from early on in the season: "I mean, that's a guy you have to watch out for because that's a guy who can run out of the pocket very quick. He can bail out and he can run, so you have to watch out for that. That's one thing, you have to keep this man contained, keep him in the pocket, keep him in that little circle."

CB Asante Samuel

On how much the team wants to get a win at home and get a win for the fans: "I mean, it's just like any other week. Playing at home is supposed to be your home field advantage, we want to win every game but you have to win your home games. You know, we have to get back to playing Eagle football and making our home fans proud."

On his thoughts about being in desperate situations before and how he relays that message to younger players: "I think you have to lead by example. You have to let them know each and every day when you step out on the field, you know it's not over, your head's not down and you're playing every down like it's your last; you practice hard and you play hard because the way you practice is the way you play."

On whether he takes notice about the cornerback tandem for the Jets and whether he sees it as disrespect: "No, I don't worry about that."

QB Michael Vick

On his thoughts about how the team can perform better at home: "You know, we can all change that around starting this week. And we can't do anything about the past, we can't change it, it's all about what we can do in the future."

On his thoughts about being in desperate situations before and how he relays that message to younger players: "Well just try to explain the importance of this game and the magnitude of it and what it means to us as an organization and us as a team and our confidence moving forward towards next week. And we're just trying to keep it alive, trying to keep our hopes alive and just get back to playing good football on both sides of the ball."

On whether he thinks his ribs will be better this week than last week: "I can't say. Hopefully they will be a lot better, but I do plan on going out there and giving it everything I've got and playing as hard as I can."

On whether it's natural to see how the Cowboys and Giants are doing before their game against the Jets: "Well you do that in the postgame. You know after this game is over with, you check it out and see what's going on, you know and just hope for the best. But the most important thing is control what we can control and worry about our situation and not get too far down the road."

On his thoughts about Jets CB Darrelle Revis: "I mean, Darrelle Revis is one of the best corners in the game hands down and probably is the best other than the guy across from me right now. So you just have to take into consideration all of the things he does well and you have to be precise and you have to be on target and on point. And you can't play around. If you're going to take a shot it has to be at the right time."

On whether it can help WR DeSean Jackson's stock if he has a big game against Revis: "Well I think DeSean is just confident and I think he's ready to go out there and play a big game. You know, obviously if he goes out there and plays well it only helps him, or any player when you have success. So I'm looking forward to DeSean having a good game as well as the rest of the guys."

On whether he has any ideas on why the team has struggled so much at home: "Win, that's how you change it. If you want to change it, you want to turn it all around, then you go out and get a win in front of your home crowd."

On how bad he wants to get a win for the fans this week: "I want to win every week. I wish we were 13-0 right now. So hey, get a win this week, can't promise it, but we're going to give it everything we have."

WR Jeremy Maclin

On how much the team wants to get a win for the fans:"You know, we want to win every week. There's no time where we go into a game saying, 'Oh we don't have to win this.' We want to win every week. And it has been a little frustrating knowing that, I think somebody said it the other day, we've only won one of the last 'X' amount of games at home. So it has been frustrating because that's supposed to be a place where we're hard to beat, hard for teams to come in and win and we haven't done our part and the fans are always into it. But like I said, we definitely want to get out there and get a 'W' not only for the fans but for ourselves as well." * * On how much better he's feeling than last week: "Oh, it's a complete difference. I thought I felt pretty good last week, but now I can actually see it and see it on film and stuff like that. So I feel good, practiced full-go today, so I'm ready to go."

On how much he'll be paying attention to the Giants as well as the Cowboys:"We have to take care of our business first. I think when all of those games start guys will start getting to the stadium and stuff like that so we're not really going to pay attention to that. None of that matters unless we take care of our business. So that's the most important thing." * * On his thoughts about being in desperate situations before and how he relays that message to younger players: "You know, just we're playing for pride. I think we're playing for pride, we're playing for the name across our chest and the names on our backs. And I think that's the message you have to deliver to everybody. I think when you say those three things I think that's what everybody wants to defend, you know the Eagles, their name, and then your pride; you take a man's pride, then you take away everything he has. So I think we're definitely out there playing for pride."
