The Eagles announced Friday evening that they have re-signed defensive end Jason Babin to a contract with a set of new terms. Babin was originally signed by the Eagles on Aug. 4, and played in all four preseason games this summer, recording 14 tackles and three sacks.

A former first round draft choice of the Houston Texans in 2004, Babin has 15 sacks in 54 career games with the Texans, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
