Dallas Game Flexed; NFC East At Stake

The Eagles and Dallas Cowboys will play for the NFC East title in primetime. The December 29 regular season finale against the Cowboys has been moved to the Sunday Night Football spot, the NFL announced. By virtue of their come-from-behind-victory over the Washington Redskins today, the Cowboys remained alive in the division race at 8-6. Even if the Eagles' 24-0 halftime lead holds up and they move to 9-5, they will need to tie or win in Dallas because of the Cowboys' superior division record.

Of course, this will mark the Eagles' second straight appearance on Sunday Night Football.

So set your plans for 8:30 PM EST next Sunday. Chip Kelly's quest for the playoffs in his first season at head coach of the Eagles will be decided with the whole NFL universe watching.
