Cowboys Make Roster Move

The Dallas Cowboys placed defensive lineman Ben Bass on the Injured Reserve list Saturday with an ankle injury. To take his place on the 53-man roster, the Cowboys signed cornerback Sterling Moore from the Patriots' practice squad.

It remains to be seen whether the 5-10, 200-pound Moore will play on such short notice Sunday night, but the Cowboys need depth at the position after potentially losing slot cornerback Orlando Scandrick for the remainder of the season with a hand injury.

Meanwhile, the Eagles still have an open spot on their 53-man roster. They have until 4 PM on Saturday if they want that player on the roster before Sunday night's game in Dallas.
