Cowboys Lose; Eagles Still In 1st

All was not lost for the Eagles on Sunday following the 48-30 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Despite jumping out to 23-point halftime lead, the Dallas Cowboys fell at home to the Green Bay Packers, ruining their chance of taking the division lead over the Eagles thanks to their tiebreaker advantage.

Now, at 8-6, the Eagles remain one game ahead of the Cowboys and have a chance of clinching the division next week. If the Cowboys lose on the road against the Washington Redskins in Week 16, the Eagles will have an opportunity to officially lock up the NFC East with a win next Sunday night over the Chicago Bears at Lincoln Financial Field.

If the Cowboys win at Washington or the Eagles lose to the Bears, the division will come down to the Week 17 matchup between the two teams in Dallas.

The Cowboys blew their lead thanks to two interceptions by quarterback Tony Romo in the game's final three minutes.
