It was quite the rookie year for Cooper DeJean, and his peers took notice.
DeJean was ranked No. 60 in the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2025, the league announced on Monday, joining left tackle Jordan Mailata (No. 69) as the Eagles to be announced so far.
The nickel cornerback helped transform Philadelphia's league-leading defense and capped off his first season with an iconic pick-six of Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.
DeJean started last offseason injured and missed valuable practice reps, but he entered the starting lineup in Week 6 and made an immediate impact. Finishing fourth in AP Defensive Rookie of the Year voting, DeJean's physicality was on display throughout the season, and there was no bigger example of that than his hit on Ravens running back Derrick Henry.
The Eagles traded up to draft DeJean 40th overall in 2024, and a little more than a year later, players around the league voted him as one of the best. – Written by Matt Ryan
