By The Numbers: McCoy Sets NFL Record

Real McCoy ... RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 158 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown, marking the third-highest output of his career. Two of his three highest rushing totals have come this season ... McCoy has five career fourth-quarter touchdowns of 40-plus yards, which is the most in NFL history ... His 395 rushing yards are the most ever by an Eagle through the first three games of the season ... With 32 career rushing touchdowns, McCoy tied Randall Cunningham for fourth in team annals ... He also moved out of a tie with his position coach, Duce Staley, and into fourth place in Eagles history with his 14th-career 100-yard rushing game.

Rush Hour ... The Eagles compiled 260 yards on the ground against a Chiefs defense that had allowed just 108 rushing yards in the first two games of the season ... So far in 2013, the Eagles have rushed for at least 260 yards in two of three games. Prior to this season they had only done it 15 times, with the last coming on October 28, 2002 vs. NYG.

Offensive Quick Hits ... The Eagles have racked up 1,385 total net yards this season, which is the highest total ever by an Eagles team through the first three games of the season ... QB Michael Vick rushed for 95 yards, including a career-long 61-yard scamper ... With 57 passing touchdowns as an Eagle, Vick tied Bobby Thomason for seventh on the team's all-time list ... WR Jason Avant led the team with five receptions for 87 yards and his first touchdown of the season. With 270 career receptions, Avant moved past Wilbert Montgomery (266) and into 14th in Eagles history.

Defensive Nuggets ... S Nate Allen, DE Vinny Curry, LB Trent Cole and LB Brandon Graham each picked up their first sack of the season. The Eagles now feature eight different players with at least one sack, which is the most in the league ... For Curry, it was his first-career sack ... Cole has now sacked Alex Smith four times, making him Cole's second-most sacked quarterback (Eli Manning – 8) ... DE Fletcher Cox also notched a sack and has 6.5 in his last 10 games ... The Eagles defense held the Chiefs to just one touchdown in six trips to the red zone (16.7 percent). The Chiefs were a perfect 5-for-5 (100 percent) in the red zone in the first two weeks of the season.
