Standouts
QB Tanner McKee
McKee balled out Thursday night, going 20-of-25 for 252 passing yards and three total touchdowns (two passing and one rushing). McKee is entrenched as QB2 and has been terrific all offseason.
WR Darius Cooper
Cooper led the Eagles with 82 receiving yards and six catches. The undrafted wide receiver from Tarleton State hauled in a 20-yard touchdown and made a couple of grabs in traffic, including one to convert a fourth down.
OLB Patrick Johnson
Johnson had the game's only turnover, tipping a pass to himself for an interception which he returned 16 yards. Johnson loves making big plays in preseason openers as he had a game-changing strip sack against the Ravens last year.
DT Ty Robinson
Robinson had a stunt move to get the first sack of the game and came close to another one in the fourth quarter. Robinson impressed in his NFL debut.
WR Johnny Wilson
Wilson brought in two jumps balls from McKee and caught a perfect back shoulder pass. He finished with 73 yards on three catches.
WR Ainias Smith
Smith caught a 6-yard touchdown and immediately followed it up with a 46-yard punt return to set up another Eagles touchdown.
