Avant's Big Catch Up For NFL Honor

Wide receiver Jason Avant's incredible one-handed grab has been nominated for the NFL's 2012 Play Of The Year.

Fans can vote for their favorite plays of the 2012 season as part of the NFL Honors, the league's award ceremony held in New Orleans on February 2nd. The top 10 plays will be unveiled during the ceremony.

NFL.com recently named Avant's 20-yard reception the best catch of the season. The catch came in the second quarter of the Eagles' Week 14 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Once again, Avant was a vital part of the Eagles offense in 2012. He finished the season with 53 receptions and 648 yards.
