Asomugha Injures Knee; Vick Feeling Good

Quarterback Michael Vick did not participate in practice on Thanksgiving, but told reporters coming out of the locker room that he's feeling "good" and is "getting better." Vince Young took the first-team reps again in practice as the team prepares for Sunday's showdown with New England.

Offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said during his press conference on Thursday that Vick was "day to day."

However, cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha was carted off the practice field with a left knee injury during the workout. He was listed on the team's injury report as a limited participant, but no other details are available as the team is evaluating Asomugha's knee. Cornerback Joselio Hanson said after practice that he heard Asomugha could return to practice on Friday.

With Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie a non-participant in practice because of an ankle injury, the Eagles finished practice Thursday with Asante Samuel, Hanson, Brandon Hughes and Curtis Marsh at cornerback. Dave Spadaro will have more insight into the depth of the cornerback position in his On The Inside column.

The other position of note on the injury report is wide receiver. After missing Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, DeSean Jackson returned to the practice field in a limited capacity. However, Jeremy Maclin, who practiced on Wednesday, missed Thursday's workout because of his shoulder and hamstring injuries.

Mornhinweg, again, said that Maclin was "day to day." Special teams coordinator Bobby April intimated that he expects both Jackson and Maclin to be available for Sunday's game.

Offensive lineman King Dunlap also missed practice with a concussion. Some good news, defensive end Brandon Graham was not listed on the injury report. He was listed as a full participant because of his knee on Wednesday.
